Still Life: Memento Mori

>Introduction
>Activity 1: What is Still Life/Object/Real Life?

The aim is to excite and engage the young people in this initial session by introducing them to the ideas behind the 10-week project. Explain that this is an art and literacy cross-curricular collaboration. Explain where the project will be based - in our case in one of the four Tate Modern suites: Still Life/Object/Real Life. Inform the students of the correct conduct within the gallery i.e. no eating, drinking, phones, running, shouting and touching artworks in the galleries.
