This retrospective of Spencer's work, which includes 65 of his finest paintings and drawings gathered from private and public collections all over the world, was first seen at Tate Britain in March 2001. It opened at the Art Gallery of Ontario in September, and is the first time a major Spencer exhibition has been seen in Canada. It will then tour to the Ulster Museum in Belfast.
