About Tate Online
Tate Online was launched in 1998 with the aim of – as with Tate as a whole – increasing public awareness, understanding and appreciation of art.
In addition to providing a guide to what's on in the galleries, the entire Tate Collection is online, and Tate Online offers lasting resources supporting Tate's varied programmes of exhibitions and events, plus unique online activities and interactive content.
