There's lots to see and do at all the galleries, so just try a few things on each visit, and save the rest for a later date. Remember that under 12s can visit any temporary Tate exhibition for free when accompanied by an adult.

You don't have to be an expert on art to look at or talk about it.

Feel free to sit in front of an art work for as long as you like.

Take a break, visit the shop or the café, or step outside for a breath of fresh air. There are open spaces or parks close to all the galleries.
