Tate Entertaining

Each of the four Tate Galleries provide stunning and unusual spaces that will make your event an occasion to remember.

Being part of Tate means that Tate Entertaining work directly with our Tate External Events colleagues and as a result are able to ensure cohesive smooth delivery of your event. Being on site whenever you need us, we are best placed to service your needs and requirements.

At Tate Britain, the home of British Art, we are delighted to be able to offer a variety of events - from elegant dinners to cutting edge cocktail parties. The dramatic Sackler Octagon amid the Duveen Sculpture Galleries offers the perfect venue for pre-dinner drinks or high visibility drinks receptions. Room 9 offers the opportunity to entertain surrounded by some of the nation's finest art works - currently a selection of Romantic painting in Britain including works by Turner, Wilkie and Danby. For a more contemporary event why note utilise the Manton Entrance, with limestone floors and a glass atrium; a clean-lined space that can be used to host drinks parties for up to 500 guests.

At Tate Modern, Britain's first national museum of modern art, Tate Entertaining retains the exclusive rights for catering in the Tate Modern Restaurant and The East Room - both located on Level 7 of the building. These unique spaces offer stunning panoramic views of London and face the Thames and St Paul's Cathedral. As of 1 April 2006, Level 7 opens for corporate hospitality allowing you to entertain at one of London's most prestigious venues giving your event its own kudos and individual cachet. In addition, for Corporate Members and Sponsors, Tate Entertaining is able to assist with events held in the Turbine Hall, the Tate Modern Café and within the dedicated entertaining spaces. Away from Tate Galleries, Tate Entertaining is delighted to work with clients and help to produce events at homes, offices and other wonderful venues. Tate Entertaining are happy to assist you if you would like a celebration for a member of your family, a boardroom lunch at your office or are hosting a corporate event at another venue.
