Tate is renowned for its multi award-winning wine cellar since the opening of the restaurant at Tate Britain in 1974. Tate Entertaining has unrestricted access to this fantastic resource and the advice of Tate's sommelier, Hamish Anderson, writer of the food and wine matching bible "Vino".
Our wine list contains over three-hundred wines and has won numerous awards for both its diversity and importantly, value. Wine is an increasingly appreciated product and from experience we know that guests are taking a much greater interest in what is being served at events. We believe that a well- chosen, interesting bottle is a key feature in making your event stand out from other events. Should you be looking for an interactive event we are happy to work with Hamish and produce wine tasting evenings where your guests can experience more of the Tate cellar.
In addition, Tate Entertaining is pleased to offer a range of alcoholic, low-alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails that vary from the traditional summer Pimms cocktail, to the more eclectic Mango Bellini. Soft drinks feature strongly on our list and we offer a range of fruit presses, frappes and coolers.
Some drink suggestions from Tate Entertaining:
  • Lavender Martini
  • Long White Cosmopolitan
  • Violet Royale
  • Rhubarb & Ginger Lemonade
  • Fresh pressed apple juice with tarragon essence
  • Orange, hibiscus & cranberry juice
