Schools Sir John Heron Primary School
Sir John Heron Primary School, newly opened in 2001, is an inclusive school for 3-11 year olds in the inner city London Borough of Newham. There are around 200 children on roll, with over half of the pupils using English as an additional language. The provision for pupils with multiple learning needs is very strong, as is the links between the school and parents. Over the next year, Sir John Heron will be taking part in a LEA project project which will focus on World War I and II and culminate with a peformace in Stratford.
