William Furlong: I’m on the Coracle Press Gallery Stand at the Art Fair. Simon have you got any particular reaction to the Fair so far?

Simon Cutts: It’s been an interesting publicity event for us really. We haven’t sold much work and I’m quite surprised we haven’t sold some of the small pieces of Bill Cole especially, and perhaps Tony Hayward. I think what’s missing in England is a certain class of collector that I think exists in Belgium, Holland and Germany; a young professional type of collector who can get interested in art. I don’t think we have that class of collector here, we just have people who are spending up to £80 for something like a present. There’s no middle ground, and I don’t know how this can be remedied, it probably can’t.
