Objects of Muslim Cultures

Matthew Birchwood introduces East-West: Objects Between Cultures, a selection of objects relating to Muslim culture that have been selected by Matthew Dimmock, Lisa Jardine and himself, and placed in the Collection displays in an attempt to provide an alternative context to established culture.

With reference to British and Muslim art, the tour of the objects and Collection displays explores the importance of Anglo-Muslim exchange throughout the last five hundred years.
