Although her work is very abstract, British artist Bridget Riley often hints at foreign cultures in her paintings. The colourful and energetic 'Nataraja' 1993 was inspired by a trip to India. It refers to Hindu mythology, where Shiva, the god with multiple arms, takes form as the cosmic dancer. Hear more at this fifteen minute talk.
