Friday 7 August 2009, 19.00–20.00

Richard Long creates sculpture and large-scale photographic works in rural and remote areas by up-ending stones, marking the ground and making subtle alterations to the landscapes he passes through.

Join art historian Jennifer Little for a BSL tour to understand afresh the artist’s radical rethinking of the relationship between art and nature.

This is a free event but booking is essential via SMS on 07967 511981 or via email: ticketing.tate.org.uk.
