Find out about the intricate conservation of works on display in Turner and the Masters with Paintings Conservator Amelia Jackson, as she gives a fascinating insight into materials and methods, explaining how the conservation process brings the Turner paintings to life.

Live Frame Cleaning

Frame cleaning is a delicate activity that normally takes place before the gallery opens, which tonight members of the Visitor Services team will be demonstrating. Talk to them about the specialised equipment and the nature of the frames they’re cleaning.
