Chris Wheeler presents a new electro-acoustic piece for the Heritage Orchestra brass choir and pre-recorded sound. Eighteenth-century ideas of the sublime are hinted at with horns heralding from the heights of the gallery. Moments of harmony will counterbalance tonal instability, turning this semi-improvised piece into a dramatic soundscape.

Part of the Great British Art Debate, supported by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund, and by the MLA’s Renaissance programme
