John Hegley

Sunday 26 September 2004, 15.00–16.00
Part of British Art Week

In this British Art Week event, comic poet John Hegley brings his unique brand of word wizardry to bear upon the Tate Collection. Hegley’s hugely entertaining performances have seen him dance with potatoes, bark with dog puppets and sing to the strains of a mandolin. His ninth collection, The Sound of Paint Drying was published by Methuen earlier this year. Turn up to see John perform in the gallery to an audience of adults, young people and children.
