Antony Gormley is one of Britain’s best-known artists, author of iconic pieces such as Angel of the North 1998 and Event Horizon 2007, the more recent work marking the cityscape of London. He casts his own body over and again, and has over the past 25 years revitalised the human form in sculpture through a radical investigation of the body as a place of memory and transformation. 'I am interested in the body,' he says, 'because it is the place where emotions are most directly registered.' This is a truly unique chance to go behind the scenes and visit this extraordinary artist in his studio.
