Inverted relative to the sketchbook’s foliation, these slight views focus on a tall tower in the distance, and may be prospects of Canterbury Cathedral, perhaps from the vicinity of Sturry, to its north-east; the trees on the right of the main view are continued a little on folio 11 verso opposite (D35778), overlapping a view of the mill and church at Sturry.
