No. 6 in an edition of seven casts made by H. S. Ede from the original marble now in the Musée Nationale d’Art Moderne, Paris. This is the ‘“Maternité”, groupe, 2 figures, marbre Seravezza’, listed by Gaudier (loc. cit.). Another treatment of the same subject was his 3-figure maternity group of 1914 in stone.
