Public Programmes

The period 2004–6 has been one in which we have continued to see very large numbers of people visiting Tate and engaging with Tate's programmes in the galleries and online. Our ambition has been to challenge and involve this wide audience, whatever the age or level of art knowledge of the visitor; particular effort has been invested in improving visitor service, creating stimulating exhibitions founded on ground-breaking research and developing our relationships with the many institutions, agencies and education providers that help us to extend our reach still further.
