This fascinating archive provides invaluable documentation of Ian Breakwell’s life and oeuvre. There are files on all his major projects, as well as extensive correspondence from George Breacht, Ivor Davies, Tony Earnshaw, John Furnival, Dom Sylvester Houédard, Patrick Hughes, Clive Phillpot, Anthony Scott and Fernando Vijande, 1968–2004. Also included are a run of over fifty notebooks and diaries, 1973–2003, from which he published regularly during his life. There is also biographical material,articles and publications relating to Breakwell’s work, as well as colour transparencies, film and video, posters and other printed ephemera.
