Norman Foster founded Foster Associates (now Foster and Partners) in 1967, and has since been awarded the RIBA Gold Medal for Architecture (1983), the AIA Gold Medal (1994), and the Pritzker Architecture Prize (1999). His recent projects include 30 St Mary's Axe, London (2004); the Millau Viaduct, France (2004); the British Museum Great Court, London (2001); and the Millennium Bridge, London (2000).
