Antony Gormley won the Turner Prize in 1994 and has had major exhibitions across Europe and the USA as well as in Mexico and Japan. Gormley's critically acclaimed works, which are primarily in the medium of sculpture, include The Angel of the North (1998); Quantum Cloud (2000) for the Millenium Dome; and Field, which was displayed at Tate Liverpool in 2004.
